MCN is a new competitive central European telephony and internet serviceprovider with already over 40,000 customers in Austria. The initial installation comprises of 3 Nimbra One switches and 5 Nimbra 101 access devices, which will be used internally in the Millennium Tower in Vienna, one of Europe´s most prestigious enterprise complex.

The network is scheduled for initial deployment during end of May, with commercial traffic including voice, data and video. In a second phase, the agreement targets a wider implementation of a fiber ring between the cities Vienna, Salzburg, and Linz with Net Insight´s ASIC-based Nimbra 200-switches.
