OC-192/STM-64 Trunk
The OC-192/STM-64 Trunk is a high speed trunk interface often used in large multiservice networks using any topography, including ring, point-point, bus, and mesh designs. It supports 100% guaranteed Quality of Service and very high bandwidth utilization. Bandwidth is allocated and switched at a granularity of 0.5 Mbps. A mix of ucompressed 1080p and MPEG-2 compressed video together with LAN-LAN traffic and E1/T1 voice interconnect can be run over a single OC-192/STM-64 interface.
The OC-192/STM-64 Trunk Module may be installed in the Nimbra 680 and Nimbra 688 Media Network Backbone switches. It may be combined with any of the below products:
