Vince Tobkin has been involved in work covering all areas of datacom and
telecom at Bain. Prior to joining Bain & Company in 1992, Vince spent eight years
in the venture capital industries as a General Partner of Sierra Ventures,
responsible for high technology investments. At Sierra Ventures he helped to
start, and/or served as a Director of, several successful public companies: Centex
Telemanagement, Stratacom (acquired by Cisco), On-Assignment, and Advanced
Material Technologies. Vince also spent eight years with McKinsey and
Company where he was a Partner and leader of their worldwide technology
practice. Vince is currently on Bain & Company´s Policy Committee.
