The initial order for the network was received in September and this new equipment will be delivered during the fourth quarter. Also this additional order was received in co-operation with Net Insight´s partner Sanam Technology and systems integrator Yukyung.
Korea Telecom’s distribution and contribution media network is based on Net Insight´s Nimbra platform. Connecting ten cities in Korea, SBS (Seoul Broadcasting System) will use the network for video and audio services between its headquarters in Seoul and local broadcasters across South Korea.
