Fitted in a Nimbra 680 or 688, the 4-port OC-3/STM-1 Trunk Module facilitates the design of a highly efficient aggregation node. Traffic from up to 12 OC-3/STM-1 rings with underlying Nimbra One or Nimbra 300 series access nodes may be groomed onto a 2.5 or 10 Gbps backbone network with a switching granularity of 0.5 Mbps.
