You can place the Nimbra 360 in virtually any transmission environment and configure it as needed to support your requirements at each site. Use the Nimbra 360’s two open slots to equip it with the video interfaces you need at each site – such as uncompressed SDI or ASI. We also have service modules that support separate AES/EBU streams, Ethernet and additional telco interfaces. This design lets you combine all of your video, audio and data feeds into this single system.
- Software configurable built-in trunk ports
- Simple FW change to change from STM-1/4/16 or IP/Ethernet trunks
- GPS-Independent Time Transfer to synchronize transmitters for SFN operators
- Eliminate deployment, maintenance, risk, and cost issues related to external GPS receivers
- Deliver super accurate timing signals over the same network you use to deliver content
All features and characteristics including QoS and automatic end-to-end routing are maintained in combined networks where the Nimbra 360 is typically placed at access sites, connecting to the larger Nimbra 600 series switches in central parts of the network.
